Labora offers 12.000 euros to companies that make temporary contracts for vulnerable groups permanent

February 24 from 2021 - 12: 54

The Ministry of Sustainable Economy, through Labora, the Valencian Employment and Training Service, has called for grants with the aim of promoting the conversion of temporary contracts to permanent contracts for those employed who are registered as applicants for job improvement in Labora.

The subsidies range from 11.340 euros if the person hired is a man, 12.600 euros if he is a woman or belongs to vulnerable groups and 25.000 euros if the person suffers from severe functional diversity or if he is a woman victim of violence.

These grants can be requested from February 24 to April 30, 2021 through the Labora website (see here) where information about the call will be available and access to the electronic headquarters will be enabled to formulate the request.

The aid will be granted to companies that convert their staff contracts from temporary to permanent contracts that meet some of these requirements: people in a situation or risk of social exclusion, accredited by the Social Services of any public administration; people over 50 years old; people with functional diversity; women, among others.

These ECOVUT grants are framed within the Avalem Experiència Plan, a project launched by the Consell through Labora to support the insertion of unemployed people.

The granting of said aids will be processed in a competitive competition regime, for which the only criterion will be taken into account when the application is completed.

The total amount of the subsidies will be 12.500.000 euros, which can be co-financed by the European Social Fund.

Avalem Experience

Avalem Experiència is structured around four strategic lines of action. The first focuses on the field of training to update professional qualifications and thus allow a return to employment.

Through a crash plan, personalized attention will be offered focused on the training needs of each participant, as well as on the requirements of the job market.
