The Business Union of the Province of Alicante (UEPAL) has chosen the facilities of the Dénia Business Incubator to hold the meeting of its Board of Directors. UEPAL, an entity that represents the interests of all businessmen and companies in the province of Alicante, thus wanted to show its support for the different productive sectors of the Marina Alta and take the pulse of the current situation of the region. In the words of its president, Juan José Sellés, "we are the union of businessmen, and we have to make an effort to be present in all the regions".
This meeting was also attended by the president of the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, Juan Riera, the delegate of the Dénia headquarters, Ángel Vives, and José Juan Fornés, member of the Chamber's Executive Committee, who highlighted the importance that the Business Incubator has been chosen for the celebration of this Board of Directors.
Riera, who opened the day, explained to those present that Dénia was the first city in the province to host a delegation from the Alicante chamber network. From that first headquarters, which met the demands of the business community in matters such as training, competitiveness, internationalization, etc., it has evolved to the current Business Incubator, which opened its doors in 2011. "Thanks to these investments, the Chamber can to offer the Marina Alta a complete support service for entrepreneurs and their ideas, with the necessary endowments to be able to start a fruitful economic activity ", they point out from the Chamber itself.
For his part, Ángel Vives, who in addition to being a delegate of the Chamber is a member of the UEPAL Board of Directors, has welcomed those present explaining: "I have been a businessman in Dénia and in the Marina Alta for more than 30 years" .
After the meeting, all those present have traveled to the Dénia port facilities to visit and enjoy lunch at the Real Club Náutico.
