The Uned Dénia and the City Council of Dénia have organized the "Scientific and Progress" conference that will take place throughout the four-month period. These are activities related to experimental science that will include an exhibition, talks and round tables. For more information and registration please click here.
This initiative aims to make women scientists visible throughout history, to promote studies in all scientific branches, as well as to motivate women, especially, and men to be encouraged to study the university careers that are taught in this area, among other experiences.
It should be noted that the talks and the tables of the experience will be grouped into three blocks; physics and engineering, mathematics and computer science, and chemistry and environmental science. While the face-to-face exhibition will be dynamic (you can check here your virtual tour).
In the talks, people of different profiles will participate, people active in business, institutions and other organizations, recent graduates, and even those who have just joined the world of work, etc. While in the Tables of experience, they will be mostly women, and men, whose life and professional career is more extensive and can contribute their professional career as an example of improvement, as well as the difficulties they have had to encounter.
All the activities of the program, which will take place between October 18, 2021 and January 20, 2022, will be taught in the UNED Dénia Assembly Hall, although it can also be followed online, live or delayed. Likewise, this activity allows the student to validate 0.5 ECTS credits
