The UNED of Denia has left this Wednesday to the street to celebrate the seventh edition of its solidarity day 1 Book x 1 Kilo. Throughout the day, until the 20: 00 hours, more than 70 volunteers and volunteers participate in the table installed at the entrance of the Municipal House of Culture in the collection of food. For each kilo of food that is provided, you can take a book.
This day, recognized as one of the "Good Practices" of the UNED nationwide, has the collaboration of numerous neighbors who, in particular, make their food donations. To them several schools and institutes of the city are added, that during the day they approach to realize their contributions.
The collected food will be delivered to the Solidarity Board of Dénia, formed by Cáritas, Red Cross, Extend your Hand and the Salvation Army.
