The UNED of Dénia continues to teach, to students of secondary school, the workshop on New Masculinities. The past 15 of April were in Alfàs del Pí, where the deconstruction of the concept of hegemonic masculinity and cultural patriarchy was worked on.
This series of workshops are organized by the City Council of L'Alfàs del Pi and are taught by specialized teachers of the Uned Dénia. In this second edition, Lorena Pérez Sánchez and Raúl Pedrazuela Sanz participate.
Some of the objectives of the workshops are to achieve social skills, reflect on gender differences, identify gender stereotypes and identify situations of gender violence, discrimination and sexism that are based on gender inequalities, providing them with tools to act and interact. in a peaceful, solidary and equal way in society.
