From October 19 to 22, the study techniques workshop "How to prepare a Bachelor and Master course" took place at UNED. The workshop was held every morning from 10:00 to 11:30.
The workshop is given by Carmen Más Llull, Coordinator of the COIE and tutor of the UNED of Dénia; and by María Pellicer Alcaraz, Head of Virtualization at CA UNED Dénia.
The activity aims to:
- Develop and improve study habits.
- Know the cognitive and socio-affective factors that condition the study.
- Know the methodology of the UNED.
- Exercise the different techniques of intellectual work.
- Know and work with the evaluation methods at UNED.
- Learn to manage test anxiety.
- Library user training
The topics to be discussed are the following:
- Organization and planning. With special emphasis on study planning.
- Study techniques. Reading, underline, outline, abstract.
- UNED Campus / Alf Platform / Virtual Course. This point is especially important due to the current context of Covid-19, explaining in depth the novelties of the platform.
- Preparation and performance of the exam. The entire process is covered from planning to general advice and how to answer it.
The UNED Dénia contributes with this workshop to its commitment to facilitate the maximum success of its students, also being free participation to guarantee accessibility to all students.
Enrollment for Access, Bachelor, Master and Doctorate studies has been extended and will remain open until November 10.
