During the night of Wednesday the series premiered on Telecinco Scandal, story of an obsession after having announced a few days ago that it would finally enter the programming of the private channel. And no less than in prime time. The series, part of which it was filmed in Dénia before last summer, has received, however, harsh criticism on social networks due to its plot.

The controversy has not been long in coming. What's more, it was when the first trailers for the series were shown that the first critical voices appeared. However, it cannot be said that the chain did not expect it, since it played with it at all times. In fact, the title already makes it clear that they were going to tell a scandalous story.

Scandal, story of an obsession it was sold as a series about a forbidden love. But the truth is that the description falls short. It is not a simple obsession or a scandal to use. The series is about a relationship between an adult woman, played by Alexandra Jiménez, and a 15-year-old minor. It deals with pedophilia, as thousands of users have shown the production company on social networks.

Almost from the first minute of broadcast, the series reached a trending topic on Twitter by receiving a large number of comments non-stop. The majority in this line, uglying the chosen theme and disguised as "forbidden love". However, there were also many comments in favor of it, praising both the production and the work done by the leading actress.

  1. Alberto says:

In France, this type of relationship leads you to the Presidency, so it can't be that bad (sarcasm for those who wouldn't identify it).

  2. David says:

Irene Montero already said it, that relations between adults and minors had to be normalized, right?

I would be ashamed to allow myself to do series that only encourage pedophilia, beware, the adult is a woman and the minor is a man… What would happen if it were the other way around?
