Next week the 235 Parèntesi de Dénia grants will begin to be paid

01 2021 April - 11: 32

Yesterday the Local Government Board approved the initial resolution agreement of the Parenthesis aid for self-employed and micro-businesses of up to 10 workers from Dénia, la Xara and Jesús Pobre. In total, 517 applications have been submitted (only one of them after the deadline).

In this first instance of the resolution process, the applications that are definitively approved for meeting all the requirements set out in the bases are 235, which will begin to be entered into the accounts of the beneficiaries next week. The amount of this first batch of aid amounts to € 531.434.

A second group of requests also resolved favorably, another 184, are now awaiting compliance with point 9 of the bases: be up to date with tax obligations and with Social Security. Beneficiaries have until October 31, 2021 to settle possible debts and collect the Paréntesis aid that they have granted. This package of grants is equivalent to a figure of € 416.102.

Therefore, right now the amount corresponding to the aid granted is close to one million euros of the 2.290.000 that correspond to Dénia in this call (Generalitat contributes 62,5%; Provincial Council, 22,5%; and the City Council of Dénia, the remaining 15%: € 343.503).

On the other hand, with the publication of the resolution, a period of 10 business days (until April 16) is opened to correct errors: in this case there are 23 applicants.

And finally, the denied numbers are 75.
