La Ruta dels riuraus, of which different municipalities of the Marina Alta and La Safor, has joined the vineyard route Iter Vitis, a European cultural itinerary that aims to promote, improve and safeguard European heritage, the material and immaterial culture of the vine and wine, in its development, knowledge and access.
Last Friday 21 in June the constitution of the Iter Vitis Association Spain in Madrid, being the Ruta dels riuraus the only representative of the Valencian Community for his interest in this project since its inception, now three years ago.
The association will be part of the Iter Vitis Europe Federation which covers the associations of each country, a total of 19. Together with Ruta dels riuraus, representatives of Tourism Galicia, County of Huelva, and the wine routes of Rioja, Rueda, Cigales, Toro, Somontano, Empordà, Calatayud, Pagos del Rey Wine Museum, Vivanco Wine Museum and Wine Tourism School of Castilla y León.
With this accession, Ruta dels riuraus aims to create synergies with Spanish partners and achieve visibility at national and international level.
