Last October the cycle "Dilluns amb Jazz" began its second edition in which it will offer a monthly concert at the House of Culture de Dénia in a program that runs from October to May, both inclusive.

As in the previous year, the proposal has been quickly supported by the public and the concerts are enjoying excellent attendance and support from the fans. It is not surprising, since several factors come together in the cycle that make it an excellent option for fans of music and jazz, both in our city and in other nearby towns.

On the one hand, to the excellent selection of both national and international artists is added the unique day (Monday) on which the concerts are offered, a day that rarely has a cultural offer but which, according to the acceptance of the cycle, seems which is a more than interesting alternative for those who seek to enjoy cultural activities outside of the most crowded days, often complementing these with the enjoyment of the excellent local gastronomy, avoiding the always bustling weekends. In other words: it sounds like “ great plan” go out on a Monday to listen to a jazz concert and then go out for dinner without any more problems to get a table that dropped by one of our favorite restaurants.

In short, a more than interesting proposal that at a very affordable price (€15) allows music lovers to have a jazz concert per month by well-known artists.

The next concert on the program on December 5th will be the turn of the tenor saxophonist Enric Peidro, one of the most active and recognized musicians of classical European jazz, highly appreciated by the Dianense fans who will return home for Christmas together with his quartet and with his usual elegance on tenor sax, he will offer a concert in which he will alternate songs from the American Songbook of which he is very familiar, with lesser-known material that has its origin in the tradition of classical tenor sax in whose language Peidro is one of the great specialists in Europe.

In short, a more than attractive proposal to break the routine of the always tedious.
