The popular alcaldable, María Mut, has confirmed that Dénia will host the next 24 in August, the final of the VI edition of the provincial trophy President of the Diputació d'Alacant.
According to popular accounts, Mut met with the president of the Pilota Club, Pepe Moll, weeks ago, who asked him to bring this renowned Escala i Corda tournament to the city. The candidate for mayor has confirmed this Friday that the tournament will finally arrive in Dénia.
For Mut, "There have been several meetings and trips to Alicante to achieve this goal. I am very proud to have been able to contribute my grain of sand and help bring the Valencian Pilot of Dénia".
From the Pilota Club have shown their thanks to the management of the popular council to get the trophy through the Trinquet the Rovellet the next month of August.
