The National Police detains a man after threatening an ax with a whole family in Dénia

Agents of the National Police have arrested in Dénia a Spanish person of 60 years, after threatening allegedly with an ax and a pickaxe to a family, arriving to break the window of his house to try to accede to the address.

The events occurred on Sunday afternoon, when a person came to the house of the complainants hitting the window with an ax and a pickaxe, while making death threats against one of the members of the family. The assailant broke the frame and the window of the house.

The victim, who shared with the alleged attacker some work some time ago, called the 091 and immediately two National Police crews appeared in the vicinity and could verify how effectively the person was destroying the window of the property.

Noticing the police presence, the alleged assailant fled the scene and threw the tools under a car, beginning at that moment a brief chase that quickly ended with his arrest. The agents recovered the effects used to threaten the victims.

The detainee, who already had a police record, was accused of the crimes of serious threats and damages and was placed at the disposal of the Juzgado de Instrucción de Guardia de Dénia, which ordered his release on charges.
