The Swimming Federation of the Comunitat Valenciana has approved the facilities of the Ondara municipal swimming pool, and considers it suitable for holding regional swimming competitions, in accordance with the Facilities Regulations, of the General Regulations of the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation .
The Swimming Federation of the Comunitat Valenciana issued a report, dated 14 May 2019, made by the Technical Committee for Homologation of Facilities, which concludes that, once examined the homologation file of the municipal facilities of the Municipal Pool of Ondara presented by the City Council, reports favorably for the homologation of these facilities. This report has been transferred to the Ondara Swimming Club, and the official certification will be sent to the Ondara City Council.
It is worth remembering that last March, the City Council made a series of improvements in the installation of the swimming pool, and requested the homologation of the facilities before the Swimming Federation of the Valencian Community. The improvements consisted in the installation of protectors to make turns on the edges of the pool. From the consistory of Ondara 10.000 euros were invested in this improvement, with the aim that this municipal sports facility can host official swimming competitions.
