The Department of Environment and Climate Change, through the Environmental-Marine and Fisheries Service, has organized for the next 28 in October the fourth day Per net sea of marine cleaning, open the collaboration of anyone who wants to participate.
Initially, this day was scheduled for the 21 day, but the weather forecast has forced to transfer it to the 28 day in October.
The cleaning of the coast will be carried out in three levels: on the seabed, thanks to the collaboration of divers; on the coast, with volunteering on foot, and on the surface of the water, with the collaboration of boats, kayaks and paddle surf boards.
The cleaning areas will be the Almadraba SCI, the Cabo de San Antonio marine reserve, the coast of Les Rotes, including the Cova Tallada and the cliffs, the southern breakwater and part of the beach of Marinesat Punta del Raset heading north.
Volunteering will be concentrated at 9: 00 in the morning at the roundabout at the beginning of the south breakwater, where the organization will assign the areas to be cleaned and will deliver the necessary material (bags and gloves). Cleaning tasks will end at 12: 00, and at 12: 30 hours, participants will meet at the marina Marina de Denia, where the waste collected will be quantified and classified and an aperitif will be offered before closing the day.
