The Civil Guard dismantled two marijuana outlets in the Marina Alta

The Civil Guard has arrested 4 people and is investigating another for two different crimes against public health, in the town of Pego, specifically, for marijuana trafficking. In the second of the police actions is charged, in addition, a crime of defrauding electric fluid.

In the first police operation, carried out in collaboration with the Local Police of Pego, the Civil Guard of that town has arrested a Spaniard 57 years who, after numerous efforts of inquiry, it was found that he was supplying marijuana to young people of the municipality , even minors, who moved to the house of the detainee to carry out the transaction.

As a result of entering and registering your home, a total of 2.787 grams of marijuana, 17 dose bagged, prepared for immediate distribution, 1060 euros in cash, utensils for the handling of the narcotic substance, in addition to 6 mobile phones, 1 shotgun and 1 compressed air revolver and 12 gas cartridges.

The detainee has already been brought to justice, being released on charges, awaiting trial.

In the second of the police operations, also carried out in conjunction with the Local Police of Pego, a total of 3 men, Spaniards of 19, 28 and 35 years have been arrested, and a fourth is being investigated, also Spanish , of 22 years, for an alleged crime of drug trafficking, in addition to another one of electric energy fraud.

In this second case, the 4 men, residents in Oliva, had rented Pego's house solely for the purpose of growing marijuana indoor and to traffic with her later. In addition to the above, it was found that the connection to the electricity network was illegal.

After making an entry and registration in said housing, 14 kgs of marijuana buds, 44 medium-sized plants in growth phase, 123 small plants and cuttings, 24 heat lamps, 24 transformers and 6 fans have been intervened.

These 4 persons have already been brought to court, all of them being provisionally released with charges pending trial.
