Foundation Baleària has organized, in the Taller Turia de Els Magazinos, in Dénia, an exhibition of the artist Marco Antonio Caparrós. The exhibition, entitled 'Universes', can be visited from Friday, July 30 to Tuesday, August 31. The inauguration will be at 19 pm.
As explained by the organization about the works that the artist will show, "the depth of the ponds, technically resolved with subtle transparencies and populated by small fish, are like a vision of human nature."
Foundation Baleària was born in 2004 in order to encourage cultural exchange and activities of a social and environmental nature in all those territories in which the shipping company operates. Since then, the entity has contributed to the cultural strengthening and social cohesion and has always sought to comply with the commitments defined in the Code of Conduct and Business Ethics of Baleària, and also focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2018, the Foundation carried out nearly 430 actions of its own and with third parties. The entity manages the cultural spaces of the Torre dels Ducs de Medinaceli, in El Verger, and the Casa de la Paraula, in Dénia, and collaborates with many others in the Valencian Community, the Balearic Islands and North Africa. The Foundation relies on the altruistic work of its more than 140 volunteers, all of them Baleària workers.
