The Romany pharmacy (Calle Elx, 2) has obtained the first prize in the Christmas decoration contest in commercial windows that is convened by the Department of Commerce of the City Council of Dénia. The award is endowed with 1.500 euros.
The second prize, endowed with 1.000 euros, went to the Coletas showcase (calle Magallanes, 20) and, in third place, the Kenny Velon store (calle Colón, 18) was awarded, with a prize of 500 euros.
The members of the jury for this edition -the landscape painter María Postigo; Silvia Bellot, interior designer, and Marisa Villó, on behalf of the Department of Commerce - have decided to award four special mentions, endowed with 500 euros each, to the People establishments (calle La Mar, 21); Carmen (Diana street, 16); Silvia Puchol Estilistas (Calle Vicent Andrés Estellés, 12) and Walplay (Alicante avenue, 19).
The public award, which is awarded to the window that obtains the highest number of "likes" on the Facebook page of the Dénia Town Hall, has been Mandarina florist (Calle Vicent Andrés Estellés, 4). This distinction is endowed with 1.000 euros.
