Within the framework of the celebration of the 20 anniversary of the declaration of Eivissa as a World Heritage Site, the Department of Tourism of the Ajuntament d'Eivissa has organized with the support of the Fundació Baleària, a tourist, cultural and gastronomic fair in Baleària Port, the maritime station of Dénia for the 17 and 18 days of November.

During those days, Turisme Eivissa aims to publicize the many attractions of the city, betting on quality tourism throughout the year. At the fair, visitors will be able to enjoy showcookings with tasting of Ibizan cuisine, a fashion show Adlib, ball pagès, children's workshops and performance, among others. After passing through Baleària Port, it is expected that the fair will travel, throughout the next year, different points of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands.

Agreement to promote the population of Ibiza

This action is part of the collaboration agreement to promote the city of Ibiza on the occasion of the 20 anniversary of its declaration as a World Heritage Site.

Thus, passengers traveling with the shipping company between the 1 November 2018 and 30 March 2019 will have free access to the various museums in the city: the Museu d'Art Contemporani d'Eivissa (MACE), Puget, Madina Yabissa, Baluard de Sant Jaume and Sant Pere and the Cathedral Museum.

The agreement has been presented today in the cultural space It is Polvorí full Fundació Baleària, in Eivissa, with the participation of Marta Díaz, vice president of the Consell d'Eivissa; Gloria Corral, Councilor for Tourism and Commerce of Eivissa; Joan Serra, delegate of Baleària in Eivissa and Formentera and Antoni Tur, president of the Confraria de Pescadors d'Eivissa.

Passengers can benefit from this agreement from the connections that Baleària has daily with the ports of Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Dénia and Palma by ferry, in addition to the clients of the route with Formentera.

On the other hand, in the municipality's Tourism offices, passengers will be able to obtain discounts to buy in small shops in the city. Also within the framework of the agreement, they will be able to enjoy free dramatized visits to Dalt Vila and the Necropolis, and will have the opportunity to participate in the program of activities of beaches open and urban, upon registration.
