The Cova Tallada can be visited despite assuming that there will be no safety distance or disinfection

17 June 2020 - 10: 04

Since last June 15, and until September 30, access to the Cova Tallada it is allowed as long as, like last summer, an appointment is requested. However, the consistory assumes that the safety distance cannot be guaranteed nor can disinfection tasks be carried out in the place, so the visits will be exposed to possible infections.

Remember, in any case, that access by land to the Cova Tallada implies the possibility of crossing with other users without being able to maintain the recommended interpersonal distance, nor can permanent disinfection of fixed installations (railings) be carried out. or chains) with which it is equipped ", announces the page of Natural Park Montgó. In this way, the City Council transfers responsibility to visitors for what these permits may entail in a health crisis. The visit "It will be carried out under the sole responsibility of the person or persons authorized, who will be responsible for adopting the self-protection measures that they deem necessary and, in particular, the use of a mask and gloves throughout the round trip".

Despite assuming this risk, the City Council offers the possibility of making an appointment from the Montgó Natural Park website, both for visits by land and by sea by kayak.
