Dénia joins, one more year, the campaign Recycle your devices, an initiative that aims to raise awareness among the population about the need to recycle electrical and electronic equipment correctly.
Promoted by the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in collaboration with the largest platforms in the sector: Recyclia (Ecopilas, Ecofimática, Ecoasimelec and Tragamóvil), Ecolec, Ecotic, Ambilamp and Ecoraees, the action will be carried out in Denia this Thursday, April 25, 10: 00 to 14: 00 hours and 16: 00 to 20: 00 hours.
As in the past editions, a team of environmental informants, identified with the image of the campaign, will travel the main streets of the town on bicycles with a trailer. The objective is to inform and collect all the electrical and electronic devices of less than 20cm in disuse that the neighbors have in their homes.
In order to motivate the participation, prizes will be given to all the neighbors that deposit their devices in the trailers of the bicycles, like an Iphone X, a led TV or portable chargers, among many other things. In addition, an Ipad will be raffled through its Facebook page.
This campaign aims to ensure the correct recycling of these devices that, in many cases, end up in conventional containers, with the high degree of contamination and the danger to our health that this type of action generates.
