The Agrupació Artistica Musical de Dénia celebrated Santa Cecilia welcoming new musicians

November 27 from 2018 - 15: 37

The Musical Artistic Group of Dénia celebrated, last Saturday, the traditional concert of Santa Cecilia, patron of music. It is perhaps the most important concert of the year. Because the quality of the musical program joins the emotionality of the entrance of new musicians.

Verónica Aledo (Flute); Jesús Carreño (Trumpet); Carlota Domènech (Saxo); Andrea González (Clarinete); Cristina Orozco (Saxo); Gisela Pellicer (Saxo); Miguel Piera (Percussion); Alba Signes (Clarinet) and Isabel Soriano (Clarinet) entered to form an official part of the Agrupació, receiving from the hands of their sponsors the instruments that identify them.

But also, as has been usual in recent years, the Dénia Band took the opportunity to congratulate the components that have served 25 years, entering to be part of the 1993 year. Toni Álvarez; Ana Ivars, José Ramón Ivars, Pablo Marín, Pedro Nofuentes and Marta Romero received the love of their colleagues on a very special day.

The concert was directed by Frank De Vuyst and performed with five pieces: Winds on Fire (Bert Appermont); First Suite (Gustav Holst); The Ghost Ship (José Alberto Pina); Trafalgar (Javier Pinto) and Around The World In 80 Days (Otto M. Schwarz).
