AEMET activates yellow alert in Dénia: a sudden change in temperature is coming

January 13 from 2025 - 09: 28

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow alert for Dénia on Tuesday 14 January, which, although it will not affect land, will put those who venture out to sea in check. Furthermore, according to forecasts, thermometers will mark minimums of between 5 and 7 degrees, a notable contrast with respect to the previous week, when milder temperatures were enjoyed.

Weather conditions will vary throughout the week. Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with highs around 14 degrees and lows around 7. Wednesday will continue with clear skies and identical temperatures. However, Thursday and Friday are expected to see cloudy intervals and possible isolated showers in the region, and even a few thunderstorms.

This Tuesday, the AEMET has also activated a yellow alert for the northern coast of the province of Alicante. Heavy waves are expected, with waves of 3 metres and a northeasterly wind of 45 to 55 km/h.
