Kilometers against Gender Violence

November 19 from 2019 - 14: 55

The Aqualia Sports Center is involved, once again, in the fight against Gender Violence and invites its workers and all citizens of the municipalities where it serves to go outside and run against this social scourge. The bell You take the first step and Dénia takes it with you It is presented in collaboration with the Adecco Foundation and seeks to support the reintegration of women victims of gender violence.

Framed in the events organized by the City of Dénia on the occasion of the Day Against Gender Violence, the Sports Center organizes a walk open to everyone, which will go from the facilities of the center to the Plaza del Consell. Once there, and thanks to the collaboration of Denia Dance Academy by Miguel Angel Bolo, the students of the dance school will represent a song based on the theme to which all the participants of the event can join. The walk starts at 10.30h in the morning and from 10: 00h participants can go through the reception of the center to pick up their shirt.

The objective of the event is to add kilometers to help the Adecco Foundation in the creation of a camp for the reintegration of women victims of gender violence that includes workshops for their children.

In addition, everyone can participate through the web www.aqualiacontigo.com. Once in it, participants can register with just two clicks and, from there, start adding kilometers. Participants can download their bib number and share on twitter, with the hashtag #aqualiaContigo, their messages of support for the campaign and collaboration in the sum of kilometers. Across Spain, Aqualia aims to reach a total of 9.197 kilometers (number of employees of the company).

Aqualia invites all Dianenses to participate in this action, since it is urgent to work from all areas in citizen awareness.
