Youth receives the phase of new normality offering a wide range of activities for the summer

18 June 2020 - 12: 27

The Department of Youth of the City of Dénia offers a range of possibilities so that this summer, already immersed in the new normality, we can all enjoy it. Activities with small groups of participants and with all the necessary hygienic-sanitary measures.

  • On June 20, the “Young Saturdays” return in the usual space, the old Llunàtics cafeteria, with music, break dance workshop, billiards championship, quizz ... and good friends. An alternative leisure space for young people from 12 to 17 years old, which opens every Saturday from 20 to 23 hours.
  • The face-to-face workshops are launched again from the Llunàtics and Dinàmics programs. For children under 16 years, pottery, yoga and dancing fitnnes kids are offered. While for people from 16 years old, the offer includes yoga, zumba, bachata and salsa, healthy eating, an active occupation research workshop, history of Dénia and mindfulness.
  • For the little ones, the Urban Leisure Camps return. With a duration of 15 days each, 4 will take place throughout the summer for each age group (from 5 to 8 years old and from 9 to 12 years old). The campuses will combine activities at the Youth facilities with outdoor outings and visits around the city.
  • This year there will also be a campus for teenagers (from 12 to 16 years old). It will be from July 16 to 31, in the Multipurpose Hall of Youth and also foresees outings around the city.
  • Finally, the Municipal Theater School will offer this summer theater courses for Children, Youth and Adults.

The Youth offices are open to attend the public in person, by appointment, from June 1. Attention days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. From July 1, the offices will be open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 17 to 20 p.m.
