Juan Perro, the alter ego of Santiago Auserón, will act in the 28º festival Music at Castell which is celebrated in Dénia from the 15 to the 21 in July.
Juan Perro brings his work to the Dianense stage El viaje, a collection of songs in which the artist's voice is accompanied only by his acoustic guitar. In the new repertoire of Juan Perro, the Afro-American heritage (blues, R&B, rock, soul, jazz standards) is integrated more and more naturally with the Afro-Latin tradition - mainly Cuban - and with the music from Iberia.
The Juan Perro concert will take place on the night of Friday, July 19, at 23 p.m., in the castle from Dénia and replaces the performance of the Cuban tres player Pancho Amat, whose tour has been suspended, on the bill.
