One of the classic athletic tests held in the Marina Alta, outside the Circuit a Peu, is the Cross Baix Montgó, which this year celebrated its 27th edition. The race, which starts from the Plaza de la Constitución in Xàbia and arrives at the riu rau of Jesús Pobre, he had Jordi Ripoll, athlete of the Athletics Club as winner Baleària Diànium. His finish time was 38.37.
After Ripoll crossed the finish line his club mate Fran López, with a time of 40.14. The third place in the absolute ranking went to Juanan Más, of the Cametes de Pedreguer Athletics Club, with an 41.05 mark.
In girls the best was María Isabel Ferrer, from the Llebeig Xàbia Athletics Club, who entered the finish line with an 43.50 record. The second classified was Mia Storm, an independent athlete who made a time of 50.47. Third place went to Gina Virueña, of the Llebeig Xàbia Athletics Club, which covered the route with an 53.21 mark.
