The Association of the Ruta dels Riuraus, made up of the 21 municipalities of the Marina Alta and La Safor, take stock of the work carried out at FITUR 2023 for the promotion and dissemination of the cultural legacy of the raisin.
This edition of FITUR 2023 has been very intense for the Ruta dels Riuraus, highlighting as the main action the presentation of the option of doing the riuraus route by bicycle, through a specialized guide for the practice of cycling to a total of seven agencies of trips dedicated to the commercialization of this discipline.
Said presentation included 6 stages, each of them an authentic bike trip through the landscape of the raisin: crossings, mountains, dry stone terraces, architecture, wine, ceps, monuments, museums, viewpoints, wineries, gastronomy, an authentic experiential journey through our past and our history that becomes present.
The Ruta dels Riuraus also held a meeting with the manager of Creaturisme, reviewing the strategy of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana for the development and promotion of highly specialized and experiential-based tourist product programs and that will allow the route to contact companies that work with a product tourism focused on the dissemination of rural architecture, culture, landscape and gastronomy of both regions.
Responsible Tourism Forum
Finally, the Ruta dels Riuraus attended the 14th Responsible Tourism Forum where the meeting of ITER VITIS Europe (European Cultural Route) and ITER VITIS Spain took place, with the presence of the President of ITER VITIS EUROPE Emanuela Panke, the Ministry of Culture and of the new Board of Directors of ITER VITIS Spain, of which the route is a vocal and founding partner, and with the aim of coordinating and setting actions that allow the dissemination of the culture of the vine not only through wine, but also through passes it to reach an extensive and unique view that the Ruta dels Riuraus allows.
