Jérôme Etcheberry and The Hot Berries put the finishing touch to the VIII Dénia Jazz Festival

The eighth edition of the Dénia Jazz Festival has come to an end. Last night, the stage that has welcomed so many artists throughout this August said goodbye to the public of the city. However, he did it with a memorable concert that delighted those present.

Neither the rain nor the heat could with the last concert to be held this summer in the gardens of Torrecremada. On stage there was a special guest: Jérôme Etcheberry. The Frenchman is one of the most respected musicians on the European scene. His voice and style on the trumpet show great influence on the likes of Louis Armstrong, Red Allen and Roy Eldridge.

In this closing concert he played accompanied by the Spanish group The Hot Berries, with whom he reinterpreted well-known traditional jazz songs over a two-hour performance.

This concludes a festival that grows with each edition, attracting an endless number of music fans, which has led it to become an essential summer event in the Marina Alta.
