The Junior Women's category has long claimed the creation of an intermediate level of competition that avoids such great differences in the first phase of the league, and in this way there are no matches as unequal as this one that does not benefit anyone.
Next week the team will face Ifach Calp, the unbeaten leader of the group, whom they will try to beat in a match that will require all mental toughness and defensive solidity to limit their great scoring ability.
Senior Male 1st Zone: DBC 69-65 NB Alcoi
Once again, it was the team's turn to experience another game in which to show their improvement in the management of the equal final moments, showing the evident increase in self-confidence that the weeks have given.
On this occasion, the start of the match was favorable for them knowing how to take advantage of the rapid transitions that their defense gave and being very successful in the outside shots.
But the visitors, a very tough and intense team in all facets of the game, reacted by endorsing a good set in the second quarter thanks to the increase in their defensive level, thus balancing the score again.
In the second half, as a result of the accumulated effort and the intensity and equality with which it was played, errors arrived on the part of both sides, causing the game to fall on the side where it was possible to maintain more calm.
The good defensive actions in decisive moments ended up deciding the match on the Dianense side, giving an important injection of confidence to continue forward in this even league.

The result in no way reflects the good work of Dénia Básquet in many phases of the match. Given the local physical superiority, they knew how to read very well where the advantages were, but the low percentage of successes of the dianenses did not grant the team the final prize of the basket and thus it could not be avoided that the score was increasingly unfavorable.
Lucentum knew how to punish mistakes and in the second half, with the more limited Dianenses forces, he ended up breaking the game, leaving the visitor score in very low numbers, which should make them improve when they face teams of higher rank than theirs.
