Hospital San Carlos Office de Dénia, belonging to the HLA Group, has signed with the president of the AECC of Ondara, Doña Mari Carmen Bisquert, a special collaboration agreement on the occasion of October 19, International Day against Breast Cancer. The objective of this collaboration is to create awareness and promote that more and more women can access timely and effective controls, diagnoses and treatments.
The Manager of the San Carlos Hospital, Gerson Morales, has made the diagnostic tools of the center available to the association to perform mammograms free of charge during this period. The intervention of the psycho-oncologist focuses, on the one hand, on alleviating the emotional impact that triggers a cancer diagnosis and, on the other, facilitates the adaptation of the patient to the disease so that he can be an active part in the process of management and recovery of the disease. disease.
