Hospital San Carlos Office de Denia of the HLA Group has signed a collaboration agreement with the Spanish Association Against Cancer of Ondara, whose objective is to inform and raise awareness among the population, as well as promote healthy lifestyle habits for the prevention of cancer through campaigns and actions in which Both institutions will collaborate. Gerson Morales, manager of the HLA hospital in Denia and Fermín Crespo, provincial president of the AECC in Ondara, have been in charge of signing the agreement.
In 2023, 279.260 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in Spain, a lower figure than the previous year, which indicates a stabilization of the disease thanks, among other things, to the constant work of organizations such as the AECC.
The Hospital San Carlos de Denia of the HLA Group, for its part, has a strong commitment to the fight against cancer and will collaborate with the AECC in the organization of various events such as talks, conferences, courses, training and information sessions in order to promote healthy lifestyle habits.
