The ASISA Group is the first healthcare company to have certified its protocols against COVID-19 throughout its healthcare network and its own offices, which includes HLA San Carlos. The certifying company AENOR has carried out a process of exhaustive audits with which they have verified that the group has all the necessary measures to guarantee the safety of its employees and patients.
The companies of the company audited have been all the hospitals and medical centers of the HLA Hospital Group, the medical centers of ASISA, ASISA Dental, ASISA Care, UR Group, Oftalvist and Analiza. "This certification highlights our ability to respond to face the health crisis we are going through. For the ASISA Group, the safety of our employees and patients is the most important. Compliance with the protocols and the application of the indicated measures and recommendations against the coronavirus is the best way to stop its spread and to collaborate in the control of the pandemic ”, says Dr. Enrique de Porres, CEO and Chairman of the ASISA Group Quality Committee.
With a methodology based on the recommendations of national and international organizations, obtaining this seal supports good practices in risk management derived from COVID-19 in the ASISA Group's healthcare facilities and services.
Certified healthcare quality
The Certificate of Protocols against COVID-19 is a step in the ASISA Group's strategy for excellence and quality of care.
Since 2017, the ASISA Group has held the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate in quality throughout its healthcare network, renewing it every year after demanding audits, which shows the company's commitment to the permanent search for excellence in all its processes.
In 2018, the ASISA Group went one step further, achieving ISO 14001: 2015 environmental certification for the entire hospital network and the company's central services, thus minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment and implementing initiatives and projects that help take care of the planet.
