The new HCB Denia Hospital has hosted the presentation of a new project related to its line of work HCB Health and Holidays, which encompasses all the actions of the HCB Hospitales Group in the area of Health Tourism.
Is HCB Irish Patients Project; a project aimed at personalized care for Irish patients who, through European Directive on Cross-Border Healthcare, choose our country to carry out different surgical treatments that, in their country, entail a long waiting list.
The experience of HCB Hospitales with foreign patients and its own Model of Attention to Foreign Patients (through which HCB receives foreign patients all year round so that they can receive surgical treatment and intensive rehabilitation in a professional medical environment, in their own language and with a mild climate, which allows them a quick recovery and a safe return home) has been keys to being a reference center and favorite destination for Irish patients.

Irish patients, and its recognized Foreign Patient Care Model, which has been adapted to the specific needs and characteristics of
Irish patients.
HCB Hospitales has international medical, health and administrative staff who speak English, and also has collaborators who are in charge of carrying out the necessary administrative, economic and medical procedures so that these Irish patients can access the medical treatments they need at HCB through the European Directive on
Cross-Border Health Assistance.
HCB Hospitales, a benchmark in Health Tourism
The location of the first HCB hospital in one of the main tourist destinations in Spain, Benidorm, its network of external centers in the main tourist enclaves of the Costa Blanca and the experience with foreign patients since 1986, have allowed the development of a unique care model fully adapted to foreign patients.
