El Paidos Dénia has closed his fantastic season being a finalist in the 2ª Zonal category, where he could not in the final with the powerful Comenius Basketball team that clearly defeated him by 53 at 12.
This Sunday the great final was played in Enguera, to which the collegiate team agreed after defeating CD Oriol in the semifinals. Together with the team and coaching staff, an expedition of around 50 people traveled, to experience for the first time the experience of playing a final.
The game began with many nerves of the school girls, and with a rival in front very tanned, physically and technically superior to the level of their opponents. However, the Paidos Dénia girls did not lower their arms at any time and did not stop defending their colors or enjoying the match.
The final result of 53 to 12, although it is broad, does not detract from this group of players in which many made the leap from competing in local league to a federated league this year, getting to be the second best team in the category.
This group of players and the coaching staff say goodbye to a great season, both sports and group, playing more than 40 games and adding positive experiences such as having gone to dispute the National Marina d'Or Tournament.
