Great deployment in Dénia to evict the urbanization squat La Siesta

January 20 from 2022 - 17: 36

The coming and going of vans from a security company has been constant throughout the day today in the first streets of Montgó. These vehicles had the same address and the same objective, the La Siesta urbanization, where they would intervene to evict their current tenants.

Dozens of people have woken up for the last time in these blocks that the developer once abandoned to their fate. Since then, little by little people have been arriving to form a community of residents who lived outside the law, without permission from a company that at the time erected the buildings and then disappeared.

Now, according to what some of these tenants tell us, a bank has taken over the buildings and has reached an economic agreement with those who lived in the blocks where the work was most advanced. “They say that they have been offered €15.000,” one of the neighbors who will still spend the night there tells this newsroom, since, they believe, they have not been interested in her block due to the state in which she left.

Once outside what had been their homes, the accesses to the evicted homes have been blocked with iron and other security elements to prevent them from sneaking back inside. These farms have been left empty for the first time in a long time, probably to resume construction so many years later. Of course, it is not known if they will settle for the blocks that have been emptied today or seek to regain control of the entire urbanization.

According to the company that has been in charge of the eviction, it has been “friendly”. They confirm that the tenants would have been offered financial compensation on the spot.

This Urbanization is half built and abandoned to its fate since 2007. It does not even have the provision of essential supplies but it is good that they were given the construction license. They sold houses and walked away with the money leaving everything a fiasco. Many people were scammed by the German promoter who disappeared and who has never been held accountable. This situation has been denounced for years, this medium itself has published a whole series of articles about it.

It's enough of cheeks and bums who want to live for life without working stealing a thousand times occupying homes that have been paid for with sweat and savings now without giving a blow they have a bull to do what they want e4so if I work for the payos we are gypsies and not we have to work these just steal and destroy everything they touch they could give me 15000 euros to my because working I can't live and I don't steal or occupy or traffic-.

    • Ignacio says:

This particular Urbanization was the product of a real estate scam. The promoter, a German, left with the money of the people to whom he sold some houses that he never finished. The poor owners have been abandoned by the City Council and the whole world in addition to having to pay for some houses to a Bank. . The German in question was never brought before a judge. The first offender was the Real Estate Promoter. What there is now is the result of allowing the situation to deteriorate for years. The poor owners who bought and tried to survive there only received the indifference of the town hall. That now they clean for the bank? Let's see what the Bank does with it. But the owners don't give a damn. Then there are the Okupas but that's another story.

They are criminals as dictated by the law and period
It is a private property and there is more to talk about, a family or a company is a private property
And those people are criminals apart from some sluts, you just have to look out and see what state this urbanization is in, full of garbage, I pass by there every day, it's a shame that we see these situations so unpunished

    • Pillar says:

      Reply to Carol.
I put myself in the place of the others and would tell them that I have worked for more than 40 years and my husband too to be able to buy a modest home to enjoy the sea.
Nobody gave us anything and to work before we trained conscientiously. This should be shared, effort and work.
It hasn't crossed my mind to occupy a ship that is there all year round, nor do I encourage anyone to do so.
Only Common Sense and Respect for others and their Things.

    • Ignacio says:

The one who was a criminal was the promoter of that Urbanization that got away with the dough of the people who bought their houses but never finished building them. This was in 2007 Hermann Schmitz was called cheeky. The people who bought there have lived and continue to live an ordeal of denouncing and trying to assert their rights. The Bank precisely denied unlocking the guarantee deposited by the developer so that the City Council could finish building the urbanization and provide it with services. The neighbors had been complaining about insecurity etc. for years. and no one did anything.

Carol, I'm going to tell you an anecdote: a newcomer from South America told me that when he arrived here there were people who told him that there was no work that he would have to go to another place, two weeks later he was already working. Normally people buy their houses working, these people choose to occupy houses that others have bought working and on top of that they give them a prize. The just nonsense, and the teasing abounds a lot in these squatters who know how to play the victims like no one else.

  5. Carmen Gomez Lorenzo says:

    Good afternoon:

I am not in favor of empty houses
If those people have taken care, properly,
those houses and the environment, properly, I even approve, all before leaving them empty
Homes were designed to be inhabited
If they are not inhabited, they are thrown down and these lands become common and green spaces, which are sorely lacking.
You should pay for an empty house or one that is only inhabited in summer, more than what you earn... why?
Easy, because it SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL, NEGOTIATE WITH HOUSING except for exceptions... either it is rented all year round or it provides work and housing to the needy, so that they can pay rent ALL YEAR ROUND
That they do not take care of the houses and their environment, as it should, easy, out.
But to cover the entrances and forget that they are there and let them be invalidated over time, it is nothing more than a crime and a shame, on the part of which it should take care of not leaving any empty house.
Either you live in it or you rent it ALL YEAR ROUND, nothing to throw tenants out in the street in June, to pick up others in October... that should be a law.
You have to know how to put yourself in the place of others and stop building to negotiate, neither here nor anywhere on the planet, much less in a Natural Park, be it Montgo or another.
This should be taught in schools
And those who are in charge of making the laws, carry out the corresponding penalties for doing what is not due
Denia is the largest population in Spain, even in Europe, of empty homes.
To the shame of much @ s, and always taking into account, land / population.
Rethink and change, because sooner or later this will pay dearly, for those who dare to negotiate or live on it
    No more
    Yours sincerely

    Carol

    • Pere says:

Carol, you can't think of saying any more nonsense.

      • Carol says:

        Stupid
I hope you don't have luck for being the way you are, that's what subjects deserve who not only don't know how to keep quiet, but also don't respect others

      • Carol says:

        Stupid
Keep quiet at least or do we have to give you the reason why if I eat the inept?

    • Xose says:

The siesta gypsies have dedicated themselves to destroying, stealing all over Denia (my 2 bikes included) and threatening everyone. They have lasted too long living for free and making life impossible for the neighbors, and they still leave with 15.000 euros, which will even seem little to them and they will dare to claim more, as if it belonged to them by right. For me to take them to your farm, I'm sure you get along great.

    • Angeles says:

The houses belong to whoever bought them, whether or not they live in them…x your theory…everyone can get into empty houses without working and live off the story…to maintain them…no…to destroy the ones…those who work, save and rent or buy how did the others!

    • save says:

As it shows that you have not been there, nor have you approached.
there has been no care on the part of the squatters
Of what Denia is the largest population in Europe in empty homes, give me the number of your camel

    • PERE QUART says:

Carol. You say nothing but bullshit.
But you can practice by example and take a few to live with you, surely you have a free room

  6. verwenza dais says:

€15000. For them to leave a house they have occupied, what do you think they are going to do now? Pay rent with that money? Or find where to get in and repeat the operation? This encourages occupation because of the shame of laws that this country has. The next one is your house.

    • Igor says:

I would give them 15.000 whacks
      Lazy assholes!!!
And me working 1 hour a day

    • Igor says:

I would give them 15.000 whacks
      Lazy assholes!!!
And me working 11 hour a day

      • Carol says:

Say what you like, but without upsetting anyone in particular.
        Is it clear?
Because if we talk about nonsense, the ones you expose are from undesirable subjects without any level, let those around you take note... and not Be or think, or act like a grotesque like you
First of all there is what is called FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION AND MORE IF NOBODY IN PARTICULAR FAILS
Learn, you still have a lot to learn... that is if your ability
Allow and you are not totally incapacitated for such purpose

        • tone says:

Carol, these squatters have never worked, not because they can't find a job, but because it's better to live at the expense of the rest, now they've left there and soon kicked the door and we start again when there was no crisis they didn't work either, bullshit they have CHOSEN THAT ONE TYPE OF 4 LIFE WITHOUT OBLIGATIONS The rest of us have all the obligations and no right to pay and remain silent, they are free.

    • carmen gil says:

I earn less than a year working like a donkey, not being with my children, up at 6.00:XNUMX in the morning…. Anyway, I'm not very smart, but something doesn't add up...
