GDCU berates the government team lack of dialogue and consensus

28 2016 April - 08: 07

This afternoon the ordinary plenary session corresponding to the month of April is held at the Dénia City Hall in which, among other points, the modifications in the ordinance of occupation of public roads will be approved. The councilors of Gent of Dénia - Unified Center, Pepa Font and Miguel Llobell, have issued a statement expressing their displeasure with the attitude of the government team by the haste with which they gave the details of this modification to opposition groups.

According to them, "We received the call of the Citizen Security Information Commission, without any trace of such modification, and within a few hours of being carried out, they urgently and without time study, a modification that requires detailed work and agreed by both political parties, by the representatives of the hospitality sector of our city, and by the neighbors of the areas to be modified ".

In this regard, the mayors report that "Not only do they not have the political parties of the opposition to make these changes. The Hospitality and Tourism Associations have learned of this modification once it was already on the table for approval"And recall that a few days ago the Council of Tourism was held and "it was not reported that such modification was being prepared".

GDCU there is another drawback to this issue and is the date on which it will approve the amendment as it was approved in late April and will enter into force in mid-June, when "Entrepreneurs who have made investments in their businesses, are a few days after starting the campaign, with a reduction in tables and chairs already purchased, apart from a change in both materials and color".

Complaints training councilors who heads the mayor Pepa Font urban planning, MªJosep Ripoll, who claim also extend that in the last Planning Commission "It is taken down with an Urban Regulation for its approval, without the knowledge or prior study by any opposition party, and we doubt whether of its own government partners". From GDCU consider "A subject of this importance should be able to be studied so that, with the greatest possible consensus, a complete and error-free document is obtained".

Font and consider Llobell "There is little transparency and participative of a government, which first conceals its decisions is the parties that we have been elected by citizens"
