Last Thursday, June 13, the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community organized in the Center El Teular of Cocentaina the 2018/2019 Trophy Delivery act to the best teams and players in the Junior and Senior categories of the province of Alicante who have been champions and runners-up in the different competitions played this season.
In the Men's Preferential Junior category, Dénia Basquet received the Trophy as the first classified of Group C, standing out the fierce fight lived side by side with Xàtiva during the course to win this award that ended up getting the players of Juan Luis Pérez and David Serra, technical team that took charge of the team after the departure of Edu Clavero to La Roda of LEB Plata mediated the second round of the League.
The Champion team has been integrated by Raúl Fornés, Guy Mavin, Miguel Angel Font, Sergio Portillo, Roberto Rangel, Carlos Moratalla, Arturo Adolphi, Paolo Adolphi, Joan Muñoz, Jordi Ruiz and Captain Vicent Puigcerver.
The first four will be seniors next year and will be integrated into the Club teams, while the others will live their second year in the Junior category where they will meet the 2003 generation players who finish their Cadet stage.
From the month of August they will try to improve what has been achieved this year by giving the long-awaited leap to the Autonomic category.
