The Hairdressing and Trade training programs taught by Creama are finished in Dénia

The awarding of diplomas has put an end, this Tuesday morning, to the basic qualification training programs 2018 / 2019 Services auxiliary to hairdressers and beauty salons y Activities auxiliary to trade who gives Creama Dénia.

In the auditorium of the City Hall of Dénia, students who have completed both courses have collected their diplomas from the manager of Creama, Rosario Donderis, and the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt.

A total of 15 students between 16 and 21 years, from Dénia and the towns of Pedreguer, Benissa, Xàbia and Pego, today they received their diplomas for the completion of the training programs of this course, which Creama Dénia began teaching in October of 2018. The Ministry of Education has subsidized the 100% of both programs with a total of 79.488 euros.

The conselleria marks as objective of these programs to obtain the labor insertion and / or the educational reintegration of the students and the figures speak for the good degree of fulfillment in the case of the courses taught by Creama Dénia. Of the total number of students who have completed training programs today, an 40% has applied for the Access to Training Cycles test and wants to study Vocational Training in different areas and the 36% wants to enter the labor market and work. The rest are still undecided about which direction to take.

The teaching team of the programs was formed by Natalia Catalán, professor of the transversal modules of the two programs; Carlos Costa, teacher of specific trade training; Mamen Cascales, hairdressing instructor and Raquel Vaello, aesthetics monitor.

Along with their specific training, young people have received talk and guidance from external collaborators such as Maite Ahuir, head of the Youth Consultation Dénia City Council; Encarna Cáceres and Juan Jo Sala, of the UPCCA of the Ajuntament de Dénia; Rafa Urios, from the Department of Environment of the Ajuntament de Dénia; Maite Mompó, cheerleader and storyteller; Antonio Martínez, coordinator of the Marine and Fishing Environmental Service of the Ajuntament de Dénia; agents of the Artemis unit for the prevention of gender violence of the Local Police; and Carmen Sánchez, sexologist at the Family Planning Center.

Likewise, the students have made a part of training consisting of internships in companies in the region. These collaborating companies are Nayade, aesthetic center (Dénia); Hairdressing Low Cost (Xàbia); hairdresser Sofía Roig (Pego); and Aesthetics and Spa Mª Carmen Mondéjar and Esthetics Center Cristina Berga, both of Pedreguer. In the branch of commerce, Mas y Mas de Dénia and Pedreguer have collaborated; Carrefour Dénia supermarket; Sprinter Dénia and Loffer Office, from Dénia.

Application for new courses

In the course of the delivery of diplomas, the manager of the consortium, Rosario Donderis, has announced an important novelty for the coming months.

And it is that Creama, aware of the needs of the young people of Dénia and the Marina Alta, has chosen to diversify the training offer that it requests each year from the Ministry of Education for the 2019/2020 academic year and has requested, together with the basic qualification programs for "Auxiliary hairdressing and beauty services" and "Auxiliary trade activities ”, the new programs for auxiliary ship activities in port and conservation and improvement of mountains.
