Fabio Chiaffi has proclaimed himself winner of the V Dénia Gastronomic City Circuit held at the facilities of Parma Golf (Italy), a municipality that, like Dénia, is recognized as a Creative City of Gastronomy by UNESCO. It is the first time that this circuit, which has been held since 2016, has been held outside of Spain.
This event was born with the aim of promoting the tourist season outside the usual months of sun and sand and promoting complementary activities in the city of Dénia.
The execution of this project is part of the numerous initiatives related to the election in 2015 of this Alicante town as the Creative City of Gastronomy by UNESCO, an award that recognizes the creative tradition and the effort made in recent years to convert Dénia in a world-class gastronomic destination.
Dénia, because it is located in one of the best weather zones in the world, between 20 kilometers of sandy and rocky beach and the Natural Park Montgó, it becomes one of the best places to practice golf throughout the year.
The sunny day of golf, was culminated with a Pego Bomba rice paella and watered with Muscat from Les Freses de Jesús Pobre, both products, representing our wide gastronomy, impressed the Italians.
