Near 2.500 people visit the third edition of Educam Fair Education and Leisure.
The third edition of Educam Fair Education and Youth council and CAM, met last May 7 2.000 to more people around the world of training and leisure. The fair was inaugurated by Vicente Botella, head of the Social area of the CAM and Juan Sancho, Councilor for Education and Youth.
Educam 2010 has premiered site this year: the parking Torrecremada, since the Department has enhanced this year the playful and practical Educam, with more exhibits and demonstrations by the participating entities and activities by numerous specialized companies in leisure time.
The Educam Fair is presented as a practical space for youth of all ages and especially for students in the final year of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education) and Baccalaureate, and helps them to learn different ways to target your professional future and enjoy your free time. The fair is held in May with the idea that students can have the information before the end of the academic year and also learn different training alternatives and fun for the summer holidays.
In the third edition of Educam they participated 55expositores representative of University Studies; Graduate Studies and Master; Vocational training; Languages and offer study abroad; Official bodies, NGOs and associations; Leisure and free time. By the number and diversity of exhibitors Educam has managed to position itself in just three editions, at the height of the best fairs taking place in cities like Valencia and Alicante in counseling students.
MORE ACCESSIBLE INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
The Departments of Education and Youth invited all the schools and Institutes of Dénia and the Marina Alta and Safor to go to EduCAM. Throughout the morning and part of the afternoon, the students went to the Fair in organized groups and also on their own, after finishing classes. The students we asked about their impressions of the Fair thought that a lot of information can be easily found in EduCAM, and many of them were encouraged to consult professional opportunities for the studies they would like to continue their training with.
EduCAM 2010 has increased the number of exhibitors compared to the first two editions, incorporating new entities such as the Jaume I University of Castellón and the Catholic University San Vicente Mártir de Valéncia, new institutes, the Official School of Languages of Dénia or Schools and Academies of Dance.
Government agencies continue to support Educam and this year have returned to provide information and hands-on exhibits, among which should be noted the two mock rescue were performed with the helicopter Provincial Fire Consortium specialists Fire Station Dénia and Inaer Group and the mock bomb disposal Tedax by the Civil Guard and demonstration of cinológico Group of the Civil Guard.
EQUIPMENT EXHIBITION GAMES AND TEST CIRCUITS
Government agencies attending the National Police, Fair, Local Police, Fire, Civil Guard, the DGT, deployed in their materials and equipment tents and prepared an exhibition of cars and trucks, materials and videos, and the Red Cross installed a field hospital.
Practical demonstrations are one of the most significant attractions of Educam. As in previous years, visitors could enjoy even tastings of typical foods of the Navy who offered students the CDT Denia and Alcohol cocktails prepared and served by students cycle IES María Ibars hospitality. They also conducted demonstrations of knowledge that students of the course in hairdressing and beauty of Creama are acquiring.
As a novelty in the section of leisure, free time and sport, EduCAM had more exhibitions, such as the demonstration of motor paragliding of the Kasana Aventura Paragliding and Paramotor School in Santa Pola. The public visited the exhibitions and the material of the National School of Kiteboarding, Fun & Quads, the Dénia Racing Team racing motorcycle team and met first hand some proposals to practice sports in nature, do bicycle routes, etc., in the stands of specialized companies such as Aestas Ecoturismo and Vitalparcentre.
Llunàtics was present at Educam with a stand where visitors were briefed both junior Llunàtics and Llunàtics cards, as well as courses and summer workshops, and cultural and leisure activities that are developed from the Department of Youth. The Municipal School of Cinema and the Escola de Teatre Comarcal Marina Alta, meanwhile, unveiled the training offer that develop throughout the course.
AN INTENSE PROGRAM OF ACTIVITIES
To complete the visit to the information stands of the fair, the council made a great effort to incorporate Educam a full program of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy to the fullest. Among the activities were organized, which were very well received among younger, they highlighted:

- Ociodenia climbing monolith
- Circuit on horseback, from Equestrian Center Lledo
- Karting Circuit, Olive Karting
- Game of environmental education and other recreational activities of Vitalparcentrte
- Playstation 3 and Wii games, from Cyber Arena GAMES
