The Local Handball League in Dénia came to an end with the traditional delivery of medals that included the participation of the acting Councilor for Sports, Vicent Crespo; the Chairman of the DC Garbi Dénia, Moisés Mayor; the board member Pedro Mezquida and the coordinator of the Municipal Handball School, Pedro García.
In the delivery of medals, the three best teams of the season were awarded, a final classification that left the following order.
- Champion: CD Garbí Dénia
- runners-up: Els Poblets
- 3 ° Classified: CEIP Llebeig
- 4 ° Classified: Club Handbol Xàbia
From the CD Garbi, organizer of this league, thanks were given to all the players, players, fathers, mothers, monitors, friends and friends, for their help and for continuing with the promotion and dissemination of Handball in the city of Dénia and in the region of the Marina Alta.
Day of coexistence of beach handball
On Sunday 2 in June the students of the Dénia Municipal School of handball woke up very soon to live a day of beach handball.
The players of the local league teams, along with the members of the Municipal School teams and players from the CD Garbi Dénia Senior team, traveled to the Playa de la Punta del Raset to live a playful day of Beach Handball.
Two camps were set up in which numerous activities related to handball were carried out and later Beach Handball matches were held. A friendly and fun day that served to dismiss the season.
From the school itself they hope that everyone has enjoyed this season and they hope to see them again next season, so that the Garbi Dénia CD family continues to grow and that handball continues to be part of the Dianense sports scene for many years.
