The Dianense Álex Ortega Nicu goes back into the sea to compete in the highest categories of windsurfing. On this occasion, his skills on the board take him to Croatia, where he faces the toughest European competition.
The young man from Dénia has already demonstrated his enormous talent on several occasions. He has been selected by the Spanish Sailing Federation for participation in the windsurfing world championship, in the Olympic modality IQFOIL. In addition, he was victorious in the Spanish championship held in Cádiz, and that earned him the place to participate in the World Cup and the European Sailing Championship. All this with the help of the Valencian Sailing Federation, which has selected him for his technical training as an athlete.
He is currently a high performance athlete and recognized elite athlete. After his time in the Garda World Cup, he now returns to face the best of the continent in Croatia, participating in the European Championship that is being held in his waters. In them he must demonstrate the level that has pushed him to the highest category, after hard months of training on the coast of the Marina Alta.
