DBC Zonal Senior Female and Male Senior Lead Their Competitions

16 December 2020 - 08: 17

Victory of the female senior of the Dénia Básquet in a match without too many problems played on Friday against Teulada, corresponding to the third day of the league postponed in its day.

The differences were forged in an excellent first half of the girls of Juan Luis Pérez, who pressed the accelerator from the start and gave their rivals practically no options (46-13).

At the beginning of the second half, Teulada came out with great intensity and managed to get into the game by winning the part of the third period (14-15).

In the last quarter they cut off the visitor's reaction, returning to being intense in defense, and managing to maintain their distances to leave the court with a good taste in their mouths for the work done.

Regional female senior: DBC 89-37 Tavernes

Brilliant victory for the female senior in the best game of the season.

Tavernes could do little to stop the team's rushing out that was reflected in a 47-21 at halftime.

In the second half, the visiting zone defense wanted to change the rhythm of the match, but the defensive pressure from Diane continued to facilitate things to dominate the match and the hit from the triple, with eight hits from there until the end of the match, did the rest.

Senior male 1st zone: DBC 76-47 Channels

Despite facing a very short-staffed team, at Dénia Básquet they were forewarned that it would not be easy to dominate them, and that was the case during the first quarter.

Based on their rhythm, they knew that the moment would come when Canals' men would not be able to respond to their intensity, and that downturn came earlier than expected, since in the second quarter they were only able to score 4 points.

During the second half, the Valencians managed to keep up by returning to the game, although there was little they could do to fight for victory.

Despite the result and the shared leadership of the classification, the DBC must correct defensive errors that can cost them dear in future commitments.

National male senior: Montemar 98-69 DBC

Again, hard defeat away from home against a team that has a much better grasp of the competition in this category than those of Dénia.

They came out to the game ready to compete but the local team started off very well, scoring in all their attacks.

With effort, the dianenses stayed in the game. But the weak defense in the one on one gave too many advantages to the Alicante, who punished again and again from the triple taking advantage of the imbalances of the DBC.

After the break, Dénia Básquet improved the defensive facet and this made them enter the game again with good sets that led them to cut differences.

But the locals chained another series of hits from the 6,75 line to change the dynamics of the game and thus widened the differences until reaching the final result.
