The Center Portal de la Marina Organizes a weekend dedicated to the dance. Together with the school The Marina Lindy Hop - Swing they will offer all kinds of audiences the opportunity to enjoy dance shows, as well as workshops and classes where they can learn to move around the track.
This weekend of dancing, titled Danzad, Danzad Damn, will begin on Friday 17 of May with a show of Swing by the 20 dancers of the school that will fill the hallways of the center. Later the professors Rubén Atienza and Anita Oliete will give a class of Jazz Steps for anyone who wants to learn to dance. The 18 day will repeat the same structure as Friday, but this time the show will be Black Tie and the Lindy Hop class.
Participation in these workshops is completely free and is aimed at the whole family, from the oldest who still remember how they moved in their youth, to the smallest of the house. To join the classes you do not need to register, just follow the instructions of the teachers after each dance.
"We wanted to do something different this month, and in the end we managed to keep a May with a lot of rhythm. First with the Cursed Dances and later with the La Voz contest" - said Carlos Fita, director of the shopping center. "We are very grateful to Lindy Hop - Swing La Marina School for collaborating with us in organizing such a fun event.".

- From 19h30 to 20h15. 2º part of the Black Tie concert.
