The calendar of sports fishing contests of Dénia closes its season on Saturday 17 with the contest "Sepiamor 2018", a sporting event of Real Club Nautico Denia in which only cuttlefish can be captured.
After a year full of competitions, the section celebrates one of the most specific and fun competitions in which a large part of the captures will be served in the aperitif of the celebration.
The contest will start at 7 in the morning
The fishermen will start the fishing day at 7 hours in the morning with the aim of capturing the largest number of cuttlefish and returning to port at 13 hours to weigh the pieces.
The boat that weighs the most sepia will be the winner and there will be prizes for the 1º, 2º, 3º classified, as well as for the cuttlefish of greater weight.
The celebration, delivery of prizes and food of the contest will take place after the day of fishing, to the 14 hours in the tent of the club.
Awards for the best
In the delivery of trophies, the top finishers will win a valid check for the traditional big seafood that will end the season of contests and the next 1 will be held in December. All those fishermen and collaborators of the section will be able to reserve their menu (40 €) during the month of November.
