The bridge encourages the reopening of the most lagging restaurants: three days where the stakes are high

19 March 2021 - 07: 50

The hospitality industry has had a beginning of 2021 to be forgotten. The sector sacrificed itself for a month and a half so that we could stop the advance of the coronavirus pandemic, whose third wave left us in a very compromised situation. However, from March 1 they were once again allowed to reactivate their activity, although with insufficient conditions for many of these companies.

It has been 3 weeks since the de-escalation began in the Valencian Community, allowing bars and restaurants to reopen their outdoor spaces. However, many of these do not have enough terrace to consider it profitable to reopen. Therefore, the measure served as a relief to some locals, it is true, but not for all.

From this Monday you can already make use of 100% of the terrace, but also the use of a third of the interior is allowed. That is why many of the restaurants that were closed have decided to reopen to take advantage of this San Josep bridge and to dust off the stoves and handles again, taking advantage of the visible presence of tourists in our streets these days.

It is true that now they are facing another obstacle, bad weather, but it does not prevent them from investing their illusion in resuming a profitable activity during the next three days. Many will risk it all during the next month.

    Come go…. 35 deaths in denia you're right kiddo don't cry….
Even so, with a population of 50.000 inhabitants, they have a mortality rate of 0.07% …… ..with people like you scared for dying with a probability of 0.07, politicians are nourished….

    To Jose,

If you are going to talk about numbers, at least make sure they are correct. Only in Denia 34 people have died, and it is not even the municipality of the Marina Alta with the most deaths. The head is there to think and to make calculations too. I know that a few dozen deaths above or below do not matter so much to you, anything goes so that you can get yourself some bitches selling beer, right?

Do not put us in an economist plan, which has already been seen that you do not even know how to tell. And you're ready.

Now, because in three days they will save the whole year. And they sacrificed for nothing because contagions do not depend on the hotel industry. Wait until summer when they can reopen only for foreign tourists while Spaniards will not allow us to go out to the street so as not to tarnish the theme park that we all pay for and with which some speculate.

  4. Jose says:

The undeniable reality is the following: 35 deaths in the Marina Alta, which has an official census population of 200.000 people (more surely because of the illegal situation), make a mortality rate of 0.01%.

Let each one draw their conclusions but remember that the head is to think from time to time
