The PP of Dénia does not consider that the results of the 28A can be extrapolated to the municipal elections

29 2019 April - 13: 15

After the hectic and exhausting electoral night of April 28, it is time for the political parties to take stock. He Party, which following the national trend, has obtained poor results in Dénia, considers that these figures "they are not extrapolated to municipal elections" to be held next 26 in May.

The president of the party and candidate for mayor, María Mut, has appeared this Monday morning before the media at the headquarters of the party to convey the confidence of his team in the success they expect to achieve in the municipal, despite recognizing the "negative results" harvested by his party.

In Dénia, the Popular Party has been the fourth force in both general and regional elections. They have lost 2.500 votes with respect to 2016, a fact that does not worry the mayoral candidate facing the municipal elections to be held in just one month because "There are many people who still have the Dénia PP".

Mut has acknowledged that they are "prepared to win" the mayorship of Dénia because they are "the only party with a city project and a great team to govern". The popular mayor has recognized, yes, that the political landscape will force parties to understand and form government pacts. Asked about a possible pact, Mut would not rule out agreeing with Ciudadanos and Vox to govern in Dénia.
