The spokesperson of the Popular Group in the City Council of Dénia, María Mut, presents a motion to be debated and voted on in the next plenary session in relation to the management of public costs.
The popular motion indicates that within the scope of local administration, and in its vocation of public service to citizens, the management, analysis and control of public resources generated and their applications to the different budget programs. All this in order to be optimized to the maximum, with criteria of efficiency and effectiveness.
For this reason, the motion states, that the cost management systems and the calculation and analysis of the real costs of public services are acquired special relevance, "with the implementation of the cost model it is intended to facilitate local entities compliance with the requirements derived from current legislation regarding the calculation of costs ".
The Popular Dianenses indicate that Law 47/2003, General Budgetary Law obliges public entities "to report on the cost of the services they provide as well as to carry out effectiveness and efficiency controls."
From the PP They also mention, in the motion, that it could be considered the monitoring of the costs of the services, the establishment of public rates and prices based on the knowledge of the cost of the services, or the determination of the analytical results, highlighting the cost and performance of the services that is included among the management purposes of the accounting information system in the Instruction of the
normal model of Local Accounting, all of them contemplated in their Regulatory Laws.
Given these reasons, the PP states that it is about implementing a management system capable of providing accurate and relevant information to support decision-making, being a model of improvement in the optimization of public resources and in the modernization of the management in the City Council of Dénia.
"With the implementation of the cost management system of public services, a detailed response would be given at any time to said information. At the time of implementing a management tool of indisputable utility, both internally and in the provision of information that is required by law ", indicates Mut, therefore" urge the government team to implement a cost management system for public services according to the resolution of July 28, 2011 of the General intervention of the state administration or another proposed method by the FEMP, attached to the municipal intervention ".
