It is a photographic project carried out by more than 21 mothers and nursing babies from the Marina Alta. With this exhibition, its creator, the artist Nieta Strassberg, wants to support those who promote, support and protect breastfeeding.

The exhibition, a photographic project by the artist Nieta Strassberg with which the World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated, can be visited during the month of August.

World Lactation Week has been celebrated in more than 120 countries since 1990 to support breastfeeding. This year they have a new motto: Protect Breastfeeding: A Shared Responsibility ”. Thus, the artist Nieta Strassberg wants to publicize this project with the aim that breastfeeding is seen with a totally natural appearance.

In the words of Nieta Strassberg, artist and creator of the project: “when I started TETA three years ago it was clear to me that the exhibition had to be presented to all types of public to normalize breastfeeding. The opportunity to exhibit at Portal de la Marina is undoubtedly one of the best places where it could have happened ”.

According to Virginia Carrasco, director of Portal de la Marina, "at Portal de la Marina we are delighted to be able to give visibility to breastfeeding with the TETA exhibition and raise awareness about the naturalness of the act." As he says, "With this exhibition we continue to give visibility to all the artists of the Marina Alta, showing that in our Escapararte space there is room for all kinds of exhibitions, techniques and formats."
