Dénia's romantic Valentine's Day plan with local businesses

February 04 from 2025 - 16: 49

The Department of Commerce of the City Council of Dénia, in collaboration with Creama and the merchants association Acade, promotes a new edition of the Valentine's Day commercial campaign under the motto Dénia et vol just as you are, with the aim of rewarding customer loyalty and encouraging consumption in local businesses, highlighting diversity in love.

The campaign will run from 5 to 15 February 2025, offering customers the chance to take part in a raffle with every purchase of 10 euros or more in retail stores in the municipality. This year, 56 establishments are taking part in the initiative and a total of 65 prizes will be awarded, as some stores have decided to offer more than one prize.

To participate, people who make purchases in participating stores must deposit their purchase receipt in the heart-shaped boxes located at different points in the city. On the back of the receipt, the name and a contact telephone number must be indicated. Receipts without this information will be considered void.

The mailboxes will be located at the following points: Marqués de Campo street with Temple Sant Telm; Paseo del Saladar with Diana street; Plaza del Archiduke Carlos; Municipal Market, on the corner of Carlos street Sentí with Magallanes; Consell square; Saladar promenade with Sagunto street and cop street. In addition, a photocall will be installed in bower Country Valencià.

As a new feature this year, there will be two facilitators who will walk through the streets and shops "spreading love" and informing citizens about the campaign, on February 5 and 14. The campaign will start on Wednesday, February 5 with this activity from the Glorieta.

The draw will take place the last week of February, in the presence of the Councilor for Commerce, María José GarcíaFor each prize, a ticket will be drawn from among all participants, and only one prize may be awarded per ticket. The prizes will consist of a varied selection of products and services provided by the participating businesses, such as jewellery, perfumery, fashion, floristry, books, decoration, beauty, catering and other items. The winners will collect their prizes directly from the establishments that provided them, within fifteen calendar days after the prize has been announced.

María José García, Councillor for Commerce, has highlighted that “with this campaign, commerce once again takes centre stage and we seek to boost it and build customer loyalty. But, at the same time, we want to reinforce the idea that Dénia is an open and inclusive city, and we take advantage of Valentine's Day to remember that love is experienced in many ways, that the most important thing is to love freely, without barriers or prejudices.”
